Rescue Mission: Six Skopje Puppies
Last week we answered an urgent call for help from our friends in Macedonia, who were desperate to save a family of pups living dangerously close to a busy road on the outskirts of Skopje. The pups had been sheltering in a dug-out beneath a car wash cabin, where kind workers fed them yet couldn’t protect them from the relentless traffic. Tragically, one pup had already been hit by a car.
The team worked tirelessly to rescue the remaining six pups. Five were quickly caught, but it took another three days to save the last pup, who was terrified and hiding deep in the dug-out. The mother remains elusive, but we are determined to bring her to safety too.
With no shelter space available, these pups are in private kennels, and we need your support to help cover the $320/month cost, plus their puppy vaccines.
