Raya’s Recovery: A Golden Oldie Beats the Odds – Thank You!
Last month, 14-year-old Raya – a gentle stray-turned-foster in Wrexham – collapsed with a life-threatening spleen rupture. The emergency surgery bill hit £1,700. Ultrasound alone jumped to £500. We were staring at heartbreak.
But you stepped in.
We appealed. You responded and the October 19th deadline to clear the bill before charges and interest were added was met just in the nick of time.
Raya sailed through her surgery recovery, and today, she’s thriving – tail wagging, enjoying her food and snuggles and asking to go for long walks again like she’s four again, not fourteen!
