Right now, our rescue is facing one of the hardest moments we’ve known. Donations have slowed to almost nothing, and yet our work – and the animals who depend on us – haven’t stopped needing us. We’ve written, we’ve appealed, but the silence is deafening. And meanwhile, Raya, one of our most vulnerable elderly rescues, urgently needs help.

Right now Raya, our sweet elderly rescue girl, is in trouble. She’s been undergoing extensive investigations for abdominal problems, including swelling of her spleen and liver. She has just come through major surgery – and while we are so relieved she made it through, we are now left with a vet bill that we simply cannot cover alone. Her veterinary costs already stand at £1,700, and aftercare, medications, and follow-up will only add to the cost.

Normally, we would turn to our incredible supporters to help shoulder this burden. But right now, donations have dried up. Appeals to our regular sponsors have gone unanswered, and we are out of options. Without fresh support, we simply cannot keep covering these urgent veterinary needs – and dogs like Raya have nowhere else to turn.
