115 Dogs Spayed in Kramatorsk:
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, 115 dogs were sterilized in the frontline war-torn city of Kramatorsk in September. Without your support, this simply would not have been possible.
Over three unforgettable days, our partners at Доступна Стерилізація (Affordable Sterilization), together with local volunteers, carried out lifesaving surgeries for family yard dogs, soldiers’ loyal companions, and around 15 strays caught with humane anaesthesia darts. Owned dogs are the main source of abandoned puppies, so targeting them is one of the most effective ways to stop the cycle of suffering before it begins.

The logistics were immense. Volunteers collected dogs from their homes, delivered them for surgery, and returned them safely afterward – even from the most remote villages on the outskirts of Kramatorsk. As Ksenia, one of the local volunteer coordinators, shared:
115 animals in three days! That’s incredible! We finished delivering all the animals to their homes just a couple of hours ago. But we managed to sterilize dogs from the most remote villages of Kramatorsk — those who would never have been able to get to us on their own. We are very grateful for your help and support. This is very important for our city right now, especially for pets, because it is most often their puppies that are thrown out onto the street. The veterinary team are true professionals, and we tried not to let them down. Everything worked out!
Her words reflect the determination of the whole team, who worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran like clockwork. Together, we gave families under fire hope for a future without the constant burden of unwanted litters, and fewer puppies facing abandonment on the streets.
Your kindness made this possible. From the bottom of our hearts – thank you. Thousands more animals are still waiting for their chance, but thanks to you, we are one step closer to ending the cycle of suffering.
If you’d like to help fund the next sterilization campaign, your support can directly provide surgeries, veterinary care, and supplies – giving even more dogs a chance at a healthier, safer life. Together, we can continue preventing the cycle of suffering before it begins.
